Ryan Bowers, PhD, LPC, NCC, CAADC

Office:

My name is Ryan Bowers, and I understand that seeking help from a mental health or addiction counselor can feel overwhelming. Many individuals encounter therapists who focus solely on providing advice, teaching breathing techniques, promoting workbook activities, or assigning homework to address presenting symptoms. However, my approach to treatment is different. As a professional counselor practicing traditional psychotherapy, I prioritize identifying the core issues that impact your daily life while collaboratively setting goals that empower you to become the best version of yourself.

With over a decade of experience, I specialize in clinical mental health, addictions, and marriage and family issues. My practice is particularly tailored to high-profile clients, including CEOs, Division I athletes, and first responders, offering discreet and confidential services. However, I welcome individuals from all walks of life to explore their potential and discover a renewed sense of self.

I consider myself a Narrative Therapist, working from a post-modern constructivist perspective. I draw on a variety of helping theories, including psychodynamic, existential, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and solution-focused approaches. This eclectic methodology enables me to meet you where you are and provide the most effective counseling possible. My expertise encompasses adolescents aged 16 and older, adults, individuals, couples, and families. Together, we can embark on a transformative journey toward healing and growth.
